Forest Management Plans
The "Blue Prints" to managing your forest/land
Service Description
A forest management plan is a document that is the instruction manual/blueprints to managing your forest and land. These 10-year plans outline the forest types, species, forest health concerns, and management recommendations to achieve your goals and objectives for your property. These plans are required for property tax saving programs such as the Qualified Forest Program or Commercial Forest Program. They are often required for conservation easements and a required first step before applying for cost/share funding through programs like EQIP and CSP through the Natural Resource Conservation Service. two options are available through Hunters Land Management: - "Standard" Forest Management Plan: provides all the necessary criteria for QFP, CFP, American Tree Farm System, NRCS Applications, and the information needed to manage your forest. - "Premium" Forest Management Plan: Has all of the necessary criteria as the "Standard" plan + the additional data/information needed for the NRCS forest management plan funding (CPA-106).
